Hey everyone! My name is Calvin Moore. I graduated from Rock Island High School, and I’ll be attending Wheaton College in the fall of 2027. In my free time, I enjoy going to the gym, hanging out with friends, and spending time with my family.

Camp Summit has been a big part of my life for the past three years, and this summer will be my fourth year serving here. Each year has been an incredible opportunity to grow in my faith, build meaningful relationships, and see God move in powerful ways through camp.

I felt God leading me back to Camp Summit this summer because of the opportunity to reconnect with many of the kids I’ve gotten to know over the years. Being able to continue building those relationships and walk alongside them in their faith journey is something I’m really excited about.

This summer, I’m looking forward to connecting with campers and being a light in their world. I’m also hoping to grow closer to God myself and strengthen my relationship with Him while helping point others toward Christ in the process.



My prayer for this summer is that every camper has a personal moment with God—one where they truly feel His presence, grow more comfortable in their faith, and leave camp knowing they are deeply loved by Him.
