STATEMENT OF FAITH

We Believe

There is one living, sovereign God who eternally exists in three persons as a Trinity:

Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Rev. 1:8, Is. 43:10-11, Deut. 6:4, Matt. 28:19)

We Believe

Jesus was sent by the Father through a virgin birth to live on earth and do miracles; he

was fully God and fully human, yet had no sin. Jesus willingly laid down His life and shed

his blood as an atonement and after three days rose from the grave and ascended to the

right hand of the Father, and will one day return in power and glory. In doing this, Jesus

fulfilled the payment for the world’s debt of sin. (Luke 1:31, 35, 1 Cor. 15:3, 2 Cor. 5:21)

We Believe

The Holy Spirit was sent by the Father and Son to convict the world of sin and to

empower all who believe in Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit lives in every believer and is a

constant helper, teacher, and guide. (John 14:16-17).

We Believe

God created people in His image and everyone matters to God. (Gen. 1:26-27, Gen.

5:1-2).

We Believe

All people are sinners and need God’s forgiveness. Regeneration by the Holy Spirit is

essential to living a Godly life. (Rom. 3:23)

We Believe

Those who confess and turn from their sin, trusting in Jesus Christ, will be saved by

grace and become children of God with the promise of eternal life. (John 3:16-17, Gal.

3:26)

We Believe

God created marriage as a Holy institution and marriage is God-ordained to be

monogamous between one biological man and one biological woman as the only

biblically based marriage. (Gen. 2:24, Matt. 19:5)

We Believe

Jesus Christ is the head of the church and all believing people are members meant to

live in spiritual unity under our Lord Jesus Christ. (Eph. 4:15-16)

We Believe

The Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God and is the supreme authority in all

matters of faith and conduct. (2 Tim. 3:16-17)

We Believe

Jesus Christ will return, and there will be a final judgement. There will be a resurrection of

both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of eternal life, and

they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation. (Matt. 24:3, 37)
