FEDORA NOYA

Camp Summit Counselor

PARTNER WITH ME

Hi! My name is Fedora Noya, and I’m from Rock Island, Illinois. I recently graduated from the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy, and this fall I’ll be attending the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where I’ll be majoring in Chemical Engineering on the pre-med track with hopes of becoming a pediatric anesthesiologist. In my free time, I love cooking, singing, dancing, creative writing, and spending time with babies.

Camp Summit has been a huge part of my life for about nine years now. Ever since I was old enough to attend, I haven’t missed a summer. What started as something I experienced because of my older sister has now become a family tradition that has impacted my younger sister as well. Camp Summit has truly become like a second home to me.

This summer, I’m most looking forward to growing deeper in relationships with campers I already know while also meeting new students. There’s something so special about seeing the smiles, excitement, and joy on campers’ faces each day—it always warms my heart and reminds me of how powerfully God works through this place.

I know God is going to do amazing things this summer, whether that means planting new seeds of faith or helping existing ones grow stronger. I’m excited to be part of what He is doing and to walk alongside campers as they experience His love and truth.

My prayer for this summer is that every camper experiences the love, joy, and wonder of the Lord in a real and personal way. I hope each student leaves camp knowing what it truly means to be a son or daughter of God and feeling deeply loved by Him.
