Heather has 20 years of experience serving in youth ministry, is the founder of First-Century Youth Ministry and is an author and speaker. She has a beautiful daughter, Adah and loves helping people experience the love of Christ!  Heather and her family live in Bettendorf, Iowa, and she originally comes from Aledo, Illinois.

Heather has a B.S. in Exercise Science from Millikin University and a Masters of Arts in  Youth Ministry Leadership from Huntington University. Heather has been connected to YouthHope for many years, bringing her former youth group to Camp Summit and worked part time for a short period in YouthHope's children's ministry! 

Heather has a vision to help develop leaders, empowering them to grow into who God has called them to be. She has a calling to preach the gospel and loves teaching the Word of God. She is also deeply passionate about helping young people experience Jesus' love for their lives. She feels deeply blessed to be able to pour into the youth and children through the ministry of YouthHope! Her desires for her future are to grow as a light for Christ in her community and in the lives of those she touches. She also longs to be a mother who imparts the love of Jesus into her child. After all, one of her greatest blessings in life is being a mother to her beautiful daughter. 

Fun Facts: Heather has one blue and one green eye, and Heather is an identical twin!
