LILLIAN KOOK

Camp Summit Counselor

PARTNER WITH ME

Hi! My name is Lillian Kook, and I’m from Dubuque, Iowa. I attend Emmaus University, where I’m studying Ministry Leadership and Intercultural Studies. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with people, being outdoors, playing sports, and singing.

This is my first year serving with YouthHope and Camp Summit, and I am so incredibly excited to see how the Lord will use me and this team this summer. I first heard about Camp Summit through my school’s Christian Ministry Seminar (CMS) this spring, and I immediately fell in love with the people and the incredible work they are doing for the glory of the Lord and the advancement of His Kingdom.

Through His provision, the Lord made it very clear to me that this is where I am supposed to be this summer. I’m excited to use the gifts and skills He has given me to serve in this ministry and to do His Kingdom work. I love working with youth, and I’m so excited to meet each camper and walk alongside them this summer.

My greatest prayer for this summer is that the Lord would fully captivate my heart and help me love others in the same deep and powerful way that He loves me. I want to be used as a bright light in this world, and I know it is only through His strength and power that I can do that.

My hope for every camper is that they would know they are deeply loved—not only by those serving at camp, but by the Creator and Savior of the world. I pray they come to see that Christ is enough for them and that they experience Him moving in mighty and personal ways through their time at Camp Summit.
