Nina Williams was born in Joliet, Illinois, and raised in the heart of the Chicago area. Her life experiences, particularly the challenges she faced as a young teen mother, have profoundly shaped her faith in Christ. While her Christian journey has not always been easy, Nina’s unwavering faith and God’s grace have enabled her to overcome obstacles and achieve significant milestones!

Today, she is passionate about two pursuits: sharing the message of Christ and empowering young women and men to lead purposeful lives. Nina serves faithfully as the First Lady of The New Derrick Temple Church in Rock Island, alongside her husband, Apostle Barren. Together, they are raising four children, of whom Nina is immensely proud.

A devoted wife, mother, and servant of God, Nina finds joy in giving back to her community and treasures the time spent with her family, creating lasting memories!
